Year 4
During the Summer term Y4 will be DISCOVERing fascinating facts about the Amazon Rainforest and the animals that live there. We will be using our REASONING skills to find out why animals choose certain habitats. We will be learning about conservation and EMPATHISE with those trying to save this unique environment. We will be ASKING QUESTIONS to find out about farming in Britain and how farmers are trying to support environmentally friendly practices. In our exciting residential visit to Rand Farm we will continue to MAKE MISTAKES and BE RESILIENT (especially with early morning chores!) In our art and design learning we will use the rainforest to IMAGINE and CREATE a pattern for fabric and wallpaper inspired nature. Our learning and experiences will continue to help us GROW and develop our DREAM BIG powers.
