At Birchwood Junior School, we have created a primary languages curriculum where each unit is designed to introduce the children at Birchwood help develop a genuine interest and positive curiosity about foreign languages. In setting out a clearly sequenced and ambitious approach to language teaching, this curriculum provides a roadmap to introduce pupils to the different cultures you can explore through learning another language and helping our children to appreciate and understand other cultures outside their own.
