Summer Term in Year 3

This term, we will use our DREAM BIG powers to investigate what life was like in Ancient Egypt, and draw on previous learning from the Stone Age, to make comparisons. We will learn why the River Nile was so vital, and how this supported the success of Ancient Egypt.

In science, we use our scientific enquiry skills to identify the functions of the different parts of flowering plants and what they need to grow. We will also conduct an experiment to investigate, and observe, how water is transported from the roots to the rest of the flower.
