When preparing for a new sequence of learning, teachers will assess the prior knowledge that children have retained within a particular subject. As well as this, staff will ensure that the children are confident in explaining the skills necessary in the forthcoming subject. This will allow More Able children to- at times- work independently and explore areas of interest within this subject.
